Prom Dresses

Over the last five years or so, school proms have become more and more popular. I understand that every girl wants to look her best. There’s no need to trudge up and down the high street only to find a dress that someone else might be wearing. We will help you to find your dream dress so that you (and your Mum) leave with a smile on your face! I realise the need for a wide selection of sizes and have sourced dresses in smaller sizes, not forgetting of course the plus sizes.

Charges

All of the dresses are for sale; some are for sale and hire. Although I run the business from home, I must stress that all of these garments are bought new, I do not buy dresses that have been worn and I certainly do not make them myself. In fact I don’t even attempt alterations; I leave that to a professional seamstress! Each time a dress has come back after being hired, it is professionally dry cleaned.

The cost of hiring an evening dress is between 55 – 75 pounds. Accessory hire varies.

A retainer of 10 pounds reserves the garment for your date.  The balance of the hire charge is paid upon collection, with a deposit of 60 pounds for each dress (and an additional 10 pounds for each accessory); most people leave a cheque to cover this which is returned to them on return of the hired items.

Appointments

It is necessary to make an appointment to view the collection. I am available most days and at short notice if necessary. Evening and weekend appointments are usually available if you cannot make a week day.

Moonlight is situated in Broadstone which is close to Poole and Wimborne in Dorset.
